Rabat, April 23th-24th 2018
The Research Department of Bank Al-Maghrib, the INREDD research lab of the Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech and the Bernoulli Center for Economics of the University of Basel hosted the third edition of the International Days of Macroeconomics and Finance. The event took place the 23rd and 24th April 2018 at the Centre de Formation Professionnelle of Bank Al-Maghrib in Rabat, Morocco. The objective of these days is to foster a productive exchange between researchers and decision-makers and to formulate recommendations to address critical economic policy issues.
Contributions hailed from all areas of macroeconomics and finance. Both theoretical and empirical papers were presented. This year’s edition gave priority to papers related to the theme “Finance for growth”. The choice of this theme was motivated by the debates on the difficulties of access of small and medium enterprises to external funds and the emergence of new modes of financing.
